Aero, a unified liquidity layer for Ethereum, launches on October 21, 2026 across seven chains: Base, Ethereum Mainnet, OP Mainnet, Arc, Ink, Robinhood Chain, and Arbitrum. The platform enables users to swap tokens across these networks through a feature called Metaswaps, powered by onchain liquidity rather than offchain counterparties. Liquidity providers can deposit into concentrated liquidity pools with dynamic fees, while sAERO token holders direct rewards across the network using a mechanism called Predictive Allocation.
The seven launch chains currently account for roughly 17% of EVM spot trading volume. The launch is designed to roughly triple that share by capturing greater market share while expanding alongside growth in the broader onchain economy. Each chain receives a full Aero deployment with AERO Rewards streaming across all seven, allowing issuers to deploy liquidity on a single network while gaining exposure across the entire ecosystem.
The platform incorporates new elements including the AER Engine, which optimizes token economics by calculating rewards in dollar value and dynamically capping per-pool reward rates. Final security audits have been completed, and the full app is entering final quality assurance. Specific details on reward distribution mechanics and ecosystem partner coordination remain to be announced in the weeks leading to launch.
