Bybit has officially launched Bybit Indonesia following its majority acquisition of PT Enkripsi Teknologi Handal, a local crypto platform. The new entity operates under supervision from Indonesia's Financial Services Authority (OJK) and initially offers more than 500 trading pairs alongside institutional-grade liquidity and risk management infrastructure designed to meet both local regulation and global standards.
The platform will introduce additional products in phases as regulatory conditions permit. Bybit Indonesia will be managed by a local team overseeing daily operations, compliance, and engagement with authorities. The company plans to fund user education through localized programs including Bybit Learn to build awareness of digital assets and risk management among Indonesian users.
The rollout timeline and specific products beyond the initial 500+ pairs remain to be disclosed as the phased expansion unfolds.
