An onchain message has alerted holders to unclaimed allocations from the Euler redemption distribution, a recovery mechanism deployed following the protocol's March 2023 exploit. The notice identifies 1,638 addresses that never claimed their tokens, including one holder allocated 42.3427 WETH, 19,528.66 DAI, and 1,505.26 USDC at merkle index #215.
The Euler team's recovery process used a merkle tree structure to distribute tokens to affected users. A new platform, forgotteneth.com, has been built to simplify claims by assembling merkle proofs automatically; alternatively, holders can claim directly via the contract at 0xBC8021015db2ca0599e0692d63ae6B91564cf026 by submitting their index, token amounts, and proof data through Etherscan's write function interface.
It remains unclear how many of the 1,638 unclaimed allocations represent significant holdings, what fraction of total recovery funds remain undistributed, or whether the claims window has any expiration deadline.
