T. Rowe Price launches TKNZ, the first actively managed multi-token spot crypto ETF on NYSE Arca with $1.9T AUM.
Macro & Markets ·
T. Rowe Price, which manages $1.9 trillion in assets, has introduced TKNZ, an actively managed multi-token spot cryptocurrency ETF listed on NYSE Arca. The fund represents the first product of its kind to combine multiple digital assets in an actively managed structure. The portfolio weights Bitcoin at 40.75%, Ethereum at 18.42%, BNB at 11.01%, Solana at 9.44%, XRP at 9.37%, and HYPE at 6.45%, with an annual management fee of 0.75%.
The launch marks a significant step in institutional participation within digital assets. Active management distinguishes this offering from passively indexed crypto ETFs, allowing a dedicated team to adjust holdings based on market conditions rather than fixed weightings. The inclusion of six distinct tokens reflects a strategy toward diversification across major blockchain ecosystems.
The immediate market response and whether the fund achieves material inflows remain to be observed. Questions also persist regarding how the active management mandate will evolve over time and whether additional token holdings may be introduced or removed as market conditions shift.
