US leveraged ETF ecosystem has doubled to 700 funds year-to-date, with single-stock leverage products and inverse ETFs now comprising nearly a third of all new ETF launches.

The US leveraged ETF market has reached 700 funds, more than double the count at the end of 2024, with over 400 of these focused on single-stock leverage. Approximately 210 new leveraged funds launched year-to-date, already exceeding the roughly 205 launched throughout 2025. Leveraged and inverse ETFs comprised 31 percent of all US-listed ETF launches in the first half of 2026, compared to 22 percent for the full year 2025, with 117 such products debuting in June alone out of 239 total ETF launches that month.
