A former BNB Chain employee retained unauthorized access to a wallet seed phrase originally created for a video tutorial and used it to generate a new private key, enabling them to launch a meme token independently after departing the company. BNB Chain stated it did not create, authorize, promote, or participate in the token and holds no control over the associated wallet address. The company is pursuing legal action against the former employee and working with relevant authorities on the matter.
