The XRP Ledger community is set to vote on a package of feature amendments expected to arrive within approximately two weeks. The upgrades include a privacy framework for confidential transfers, batch processing, sponsored fees and reserves, permission delegation, and dynamic MPT, alongside a bundled fix and various other improvements to the codebase.
The amendments are designed to enhance network performance, with potential memory reductions reaching up to 40 percent on some machines, though conservatively at least 10 to 15 percent is expected. The changes also aim to reduce the likelihood of nodes and validators falling out of sync. Several of the proposed features—including batch processing and the privacy framework for confidential transfers—are described as particularly significant individual upgrades.
The exact timing remains conditional on implementation readiness, and the full scope of adoption outcomes remains to be determined once the community vote concludes and any approved changes are deployed to the network.
