RWA & Tokenization ·
The real-world assets market has expanded to over $30 billion in active market cap—a sixfold increase from 2024 levels—with tokenized equities emerging as the fastest-growing segment. Over a 30-day period, stocks and equity-linked products captured $480.6 million in net inflows, representing 25.4 percent of total RWA inflows, while ETF market capitalization grew 34.7 percent. Binance's bStocks platform, launched on June 10, has become a standout performer, accumulating approximately $118.5 million in tokenized ETF market cap within roughly two months and generating roughly 90 percent of tokenized-equity decentralized exchange volume.
The product's traction reflects both operational mechanics and user adoption. Daily active traders on the platform peaked at around 74,000 and remain near 58,000, while approximately 31 percent of bStocks assets under management serve as margin collateral. The platform's advantages include Binance's existing user base, direct USDT settlement, and 1:1 conversion between tokens and underlying shares, enabling equity exposure with around-the-clock on-chain market access.
What remains unclear is whether tokenized equities' current growth trajectory will sustain as the market matures, how regulatory frameworks may evolve, and whether platforms beyond Binance can achieve comparable adoption rates in this segment.
