B² Network on BNB Chain lost approximately 3.86 million USD in an exploit that drained 8.591M B2 tokens, according to security monitoring. The attacker converted the stolen funds into over 5,000 WBNB, then swapped those proceeds for 1,128 ETH before bridging the funds out via NEAR Intents.
The B2 token has declined 15 percent following the incident. The specific vulnerability exploited and whether additional details about the attack vector have been disclosed remain unclear from available reports. Recovery efforts or further statements from the B² Network team have not yet been documented.
