Resolv Labs exploit attacker moves $1.09M in ETH through mixers, resuming activity weeks after stealing $25.9M in March.
Security & Exploits ·
The attacker behind the March Resolv Labs exploit has resumed moving stolen funds after weeks of inactivity. The perpetrator transferred 580 ETH, valued at approximately $1.09M, within hours and directed the assets through mixer services to obscure their trail. The original breach resulted in losses of approximately $25.9M.
The resumed movement comes after a dormant period following the initial theft in March. On-chain monitoring shows the funds being systematically routed through privacy mixers, a common technique used to break transaction linkability. The attacker's wallet activity can be tracked on-chain.
The pattern suggests ongoing efforts to liquidate or move the stolen assets rather than hold them statically. Whether additional funds from the March breach remain in the attacker's control, or what portion of the $25.9M total has already been moved through mixers, remains unclear from available on-chain data.
