Binance launches tokenized U.S. stocks (NVDAon, TSLAon, GOOGLon, AAPLon, MUon) live on Binance Alpha, backed 1:1 by actual securities, enabling 24/7 fractional trading and DeFi collateral use.

Binance has launched tokenized U.S. stocks on its Binance Alpha platform, making five securities available to its 240 million registered users: NVDAon, TSLAon, GOOGLon, AAPLon, and MUon. Each token is backed 1:1 by actual securities held at U.S. broker-dealers, according to the announcement. The offering enables 24/7 trading with no broker account or market-hours restrictions, with a $10 minimum for fractional purchases.
The launch integrates tokenized stocks into decentralized finance infrastructure, allowing users to deploy these assets as collateral. The move follows existing activity in the tokenized securities space: the protocol behind these instruments already held $3.9 billion in total value locked prior to this expansion. By combining Binance's user base with on-chain composability, the platform removes traditional settlement delays and trading-hour constraints that characterize stock markets.
The sustainability and regulatory treatment of this model remain unclear. No details have been disclosed about custody arrangements beyond the broker-dealer backing, the scope of available securities beyond the five launched, or how regulators may respond to stocks functioning as DeFi collateral at this scale.
