Binance temporarily suspends TRX and ZEC deposits/withdrawals for maintenance and hard fork; delists ACX/USDC and XRP/BNB pairs on July 24.

Binance announced it will pause TRX and ZEC services on its platform later this month. The exchange plans to temporarily halt Tron deposits and withdrawals on July 23 for network wallet maintenance, with the work expected to take roughly one hour. ZEC deposits and withdrawals will also be suspended to accommodate a Zcash hard fork scheduled for block height 3,428,143, anticipated around July 28 at 13:00 UTC. Trading in both assets will remain available throughout these service interruptions.
The exchange also delisted seven spot trading pairs effective July 24, including ACX/USDC and XRP/BNB, alongside additional margin pairs. Binance cited its standard monitoring criteria—team activity, trading volume, liquidity, and network stability—as the basis for removing pairs that no longer meet platform standards.
Price reaction to the suspension announcements has been muted so far. However, the material distinguishes between temporary pair delistings and full asset delistings, which have historically triggered sharper declines. The immediate impact of these July actions remains to be observed.
