Cypherpunk Technologies completed a $33.33 million transaction involving Winklevoss Capital to acquire and launch a 4.2 GSol/s Zcash mining fleet, positioning itself as the largest active miner with approximately 18% of the network's total hashrate. The Nasdaq-listed company, which already holds about 1.92% of circulating ZEC supply and aims to reach 5%, deployed latest-generation Z15 Pro machines across U.S. hosting facilities. The acquisition concentrates a material portion of Zcash's security infrastructure in a single corporate entity while the company frames the expansion as strengthening network decentralization.
