Flare Network pauses FAssets minting and redemptions for maintenance; FXRP remains usable in DeFi.

Flare Network has temporarily halted the minting and redemption of FAssets as part of scheduled maintenance work. The pause does not affect existing FXRP holdings or their utility across decentralized finance applications on Flare and other compatible networks, where the asset continues to function normally.
The maintenance window restricts only the creation of new FAssets and the conversion of wrapped assets back to their underlying forms. Users holding FXRP can continue to interact with DeFi protocols without disruption during this period.
Flare Networks has indicated that further details about when minting and redemptions will resume will be communicated in due course. The specific scope and expected duration of the maintenance have not yet been disclosed.
