Injective launches Mint platform for compliant tokenized assets and lists INJ on Coinbase.

Injective has launched Injective Mint, a platform for compliant asset issuance that enables institutions, users, and AI agents to tokenize equities, bonds, ETFs, credit, real estate, FX, and other assets with built-in compliance controls. Simultaneously, the native INJ token went live on Coinbase, providing the largest U.S. crypto exchange with direct access to the Injective ecosystem following Coinbase Markets' migration to the Injective EVM.
The dual announcement represents infrastructure expansion aimed at institutional participation. Injective Mint consolidates tokenized asset issuance under a single compliant framework, while the Coinbase listing removes friction for retail entry into the network. The timing aligns with the network's recent milestones: 3 billion processed transactions and Helix Markets reaching $78.3 billion in cumulative onchain volume over its history.
Questions remain about adoption rates for Mint's tokenized products, institutional demand through Coinbase, and whether the infrastructure gains will translate to material ecosystem growth. The regulatory environment, reflected in parallel discussions around the Senate's CLARITY Act, will likely influence how quickly compliant issuance gains traction on the platform.
