Janus Henderson and Centrifuge have launched JQQQ, described as the first blockchain-native Nasdaq-100 index fund, now live on Stellar. The product combines institutional asset management with onchain infrastructure, enabling tokenized equity index exposure through Centrifuge's RWA protocol.
JQQQ represents a continuation of Centrifuge's expansion into equity tokenization. Centrifuge has positioned itself as infrastructure for asset managers to tokenize and distribute traditional financial products—including equities, credit, and treasuries—across multiple blockchains while preserving offchain compliance structures. The protocol currently reports more than $2 billion in tokenized assets onchain.
The launch demonstrates growing institutional adoption of tokenized indices in crypto markets. However, details about fund mechanics, fees, minimum investments, custody arrangements, and Stellar integration specifics remain unclear from available information.
