Robinhood Stock Tokens are ERC-20 securities on Robinhood Chain offering price and dividend exposure to real shares via 1:1 backing, with secondary DEX trading decoupled from primary issuance.

Robinhood Stock Tokens are ERC-20 securities issued on Robinhood Chain by a Jersey-based entity, structured to provide economic exposure to equities while maintaining a 1:1 backing by real shares held in custody. Token holders receive price appreciation and dividend gains through an on-chain multiplier mechanism, but retain no ownership stake, voting rights, or direct claim on the underlying securities.
The tokens operate across two distinct markets. Authorized participants engage in primary issuance and redemption directly with the issuer, while all other participants trade the secondary float on decentralized exchanges. This separation means the DEX price can diverge from net asset value, trading at premiums or discounts depending on liquidity conditions and the contrast between round-the-clock crypto trading and traditional market hours.
Secondary market trading does not mechanically trigger new purchases of the underlying shares or create supply-side pressure on the real stock, since primary minting and redemption remain gated to authorized counterparties.
