Securitize, recently listed on NYSE, plans $400M in acquisitions to expand its tokenization platform.

Securitize announced plans to deploy $400 million toward acquisitions in adjacent tokenization markets following its recent NYSE debut under ticker SECZ. The move signals intent to expand its footprint in regulated infrastructure for digital securities after completing a SPAC merger and beginning public trading.
The company operates as a broker-dealer and SEC-registered transfer agent, providing issuers with the technical and compliance systems to tokenize traditional securities on blockchain networks. Securitize currently manages $3.4 billion in tokenized real-world assets across Ethereum, Solana, and TRON, and services institutional clients including BlackRock's BUIDL fund. Its regulatory stack—combining broker-dealer status, an Alternative Trading System license, and transfer agent registration—enables it to facilitate issuance, secondary trading, and settlement of onchain securities within U.S. law.
The specific acquisition targets and timing remain undisclosed. Securitize's capital allocation strategy will determine whether the $400 million focuses on complementary infrastructure firms, custody solutions, market-making platforms, or other segments within the emerging tokenization ecosystem.
