ZIG Markets structures USD1 RWA Vault on Solana for cross-border settlement finance, solving liquidity funding costs through onchain capital.
Tech & Launches ·
ZIG Markets, a licensed financial services provider, has structured a real-world asset vault focused on cross-border settlement financing within ConcreteXYZ's USD1 offering on Solana. The vault addresses a fundamental friction in international payments: the cost of maintaining liquidity in destination markets while transactions settle. By deploying onchain capital into short-duration financing for money transfer operators, the structure creates yield while enabling faster cross-border remittance settlement compared to traditional banking infrastructure.
Money transfer operators need capital available across multiple markets and currencies to execute payments before underlying transaction flows fully clear. ZIG Markets originates opportunities around this real-world financing gap, channeling USD1 into settlement liquidity provision and recording deployment and repayment activity onchain. The capital sits in a controlled, segregated structure managed through their PayFi infrastructure.
The USD1 Vault operates as a broader portfolio that also includes opportunities from Qiro (tokenized private credit), Colb (European private credit), and Origin Assets (digital infrastructure financing). Access is limited to whitelisted, eligible participants in permitted jurisdictions. No yield is guaranteed, and the structure carries credit, counterparty, and smart contract risks alongside the potential for loss of principal.
