VC & Fundraising ·
Birch Hill, a startup founded by former Goldman Sachs and BlackRock employees, closed a $4 million seed funding round led by Multicoin Capital to build regulated infrastructure for placing U.S. apartment, farm, and energy loans onchain. The round, which included ParaFi Capital, Castle Island Ventures, and Nascent, brings total funding to $6.5 million. The firm operates vaults on the Morpho lending protocol, has applied for FINRA broker-dealer status to offer private credit to accredited investors, and plans to securitize loan pools within U.S. regulatory frameworks.
