Buidlpad launches Axil Prime Credit 3M vault offering 13% target yield on tokenized real-world consumer credit from emerging markets.

Buidlpad has launched the Axil Prime Credit 3M vault, offering a target yield of 13% on tokenized real-world consumer credit exposure across emerging markets. The vault operates on a 3-month epoch term with a $100 million capacity, of which $42 million had already been deposited at the time of announcement. Returns follow the vault's net asset value rather than being fixed or guaranteed, and deposit access closes on July 29.
The offering tokenizes consumer credit strategies into transferable onchain shares, managed by Axil and powered by R25, with SlowMist providing audit coverage. The vault accepts Pharos USDC and aims to provide investors exposure to cash flows from a distinct economic segment—consumer lending in emerging markets—rather than traditional onchain yield sources.
The move reflects broader efforts to expand the range of real-world assets accessible through decentralized platforms, broadening yield profiles beyond single market cycles. Whether actual returns will meet the 13% target and how the vault performs over its term remain to be demonstrated.
