Interactive Brokers has expanded its digital asset offerings by integrating nine tokens into its trading infrastructure, made possible through partnerships with both ZeroHash and Paxos. The newly supported assets include AAVE, APT, Coinbase Coin, Lido, Monacoin, NEAR, Xpla, Paxos Gold, and Uniswap, with AAVE, Uniswap, and Paxos Gold available through both providers. Beyond token listings, the platform now enables clients to move stablecoins bidirectionally between their accounts and external wallets, with USDC, Paxos Standard, and Real Lend offering the conversion and transfer functionality.
The expansion represents a shift toward deeper cryptocurrency integration at the brokerage level, letting qualified account holders both deposit dollars for conversion into supported stablecoins and withdraw digital assets to self-custodial or third-party wallets. The move signals increased institutional appetite for on-chain liquidity pathways alongside traditional trading infrastructure.
The scope of eligible clients and any rollout timeline remain unspecified in available announcements.
