Mantle's network crossed $800M in total assets in August, representing 54% year-to-date growth, while inbound USDT reached $2.2B, positioning the chain as a top destination for real-world asset and decentralized finance infrastructure. The ecosystem launched tokenized equity listings including Jersey Mike's ($JMKEx) on Fluxion Network and expanded yield-bearing products through a new DeFi Vault offering up to 10% returns on stablecoins, backed by an incentive program worth 5.14M $GROVE tokens.
Infrastructure expansions included integration of AI-driven income strategies via RWAlpha on Mantle, a public data dashboard on Blockworks tracking activity across six asset classes, and deposit-withdrawal support for Grove Finance's asset-backed credit token through Bybit. Complementary ecosystem moves included over 1M ETH staked into the mETH Protocol, xStocksFi crossing $750M in tokenized assets under management, and Chainlink's LINK listing on Charles Schwab's brokerage platform.
What remains unclear is the rate at which institutional capital will migrate to these on-chain markets, and whether the 10% yield programs and incentives will sustain as promotional spend normalizes. The network's evolution from asset distribution layer to integrated capital markets infrastructure relies on sustained volume and genuine use cases for RWA products across multiple asset classes.
