Ripple invests in Notabene, a compliance platform, to integrate RLUSD stablecoin into institutional channels.

Ripple has made a strategic investment in Notabene, a compliance infrastructure operator, as announced on July 23, 2026. The partnership will integrate Ripple USD (RLUSD) into Notabene Flow, the company's B2B stablecoin payments platform, and explore how transaction authorization mechanisms can work alongside Ripple's broader payment offerings.
Notabene operates a network that spans more than 2,300 connected institutions across 100+ jurisdictions and handles over $2 trillion in annualized transaction volume. The platform combines Travel Rule compliance with pre-transaction verification and authorization for regulated on-chain transactions. By embedding RLUSD into this institutional network, the companies aim to reduce friction in stablecoin adoption by providing financial institutions with counterparty verification and compliance capabilities before settlement occurs.
The collaboration addresses a key constraint in institutional digital-asset adoption: the need for identity verification, compliance checks, and transaction authorization infrastructure that does not slow payment flows. What remains unclear is the timeline for full RLUSD integration across Notabene Flow and the specific features or products that will emerge from exploring how the two platforms' authorization systems might interoperate.
