Uniswap adds 13,137 new addresses in largest growth spike since 2020, driven by VolatilePair and Aggregator Hooks upgrades.

Uniswap's network has experienced a sharp expansion in user activity, with daily active addresses climbing to 14,591—the highest in a year—and 13,137 new addresses joining the protocol, representing its strongest growth since September 2020. The surge coincides with network upgrades that enhance trading mechanics: VolatilePair Hooks, launched in mid-October, adjust swap fees dynamically based on price movements to shield liquidity providers from arbitrage losses during volatile periods, while Aggregator Hooks connect external liquidity sources like Curve and Fluid to Uniswap v4, allowing routers to optimize trades across platforms in a single transaction.
Technical support and resistance levels now frame near-term price action. The token currently trades near $7.1, with $7 identified as a critical support zone and $7.5 as the next level to monitor; breaking above these tiers while maintaining elevated network engagement could push toward $8. One analyst pointed to the $10–$12 band as achievable if broader crypto markets stabilize, with a decisive move higher potentially opening $19–$20 as a subsequent resistance target. The protocol has accumulated over $6 billion in total fees, including nearly $89 million over the past month, outpacing competing platforms in recent fee generation.
