The bank's position corresponds to roughly 84 million tokens, while Jane Street held approximately 16 million XRP valued at $16.6 million and Millennium Management controlled 15.5 million tokens worth about $16.2 million. Across five named holders tracked, combined exposure hit $183.5 million representing around 176.4 million XRP.
Within this institutional base, investment advisors dominated by category with $120.9 million in holdings, substantially outpacing hedge fund managers at $25.1 million, brokerages at $17.9 million, and banks at $14.8 million. The growth in ETF holdings coincided with accelerating inflows; spot XRP ETFs drew $110.5 million during the week ending August 28, marking their strongest five-day performance since early December 2025.
Despite this institutional accumulation, XRP's spot price retreated to around $1.40, retreating from a recent peak of $1.70 the prior week. The token trades approximately 62 percent below its all-time high of $3.65 from July 2025, and observers note potential support levels around $1.35โ$1.38, with $1.60 identified as key resistance for any attempted recovery.
