Binance adds 15 tokenized stock (bStocks) assets as collateral for margin and portfolio margin trading.
RWA & Tokenization ·
Binance has made fifteen tokenized stock assets eligible as collateral across its margin trading offerings. The newly approved bStocks tokens span technology, finance, and passive index exposure, including representations of Tesla, Microsoft, NVIDIA, Meta, Intel, SpaceX, and others, alongside equity ETFs and strategy-focused instruments. These assets can now be used to secure positions in Binance Cross Margin, Portfolio Margin, and Portfolio Margin Pro accounts.
The addition expands the collateral toolkit available to margin traders, potentially increasing capital efficiency by allowing users to pledge tokenized equities alongside traditional crypto holdings. bStocks are tokenized securities that represent equity ownership in traditional companies and funds, bridging traditional and crypto markets on the platform.
The announcement does not specify effective dates, collateral haircuts, or borrowing rates specific to these assets. It remains unclear whether additional bStocks tokens are planned or whether this update signals deeper integration of equities infrastructure into Binance's margin ecosystem.
