Chainlink connected 47+ banks for instant FX settlement and enabled UBS to complete the first live end-to-end tokenized fund workflow, with major asset managers including Fidelity International, WisdomTree, and Amundi now using Chainlink infrastructure for tokenized fund operations.

Chainlink has connected over 47 banks for instant foreign exchange settlement as the infrastructure layer deepens its presence in tokenized finance operations. UBS completed the first live end-to-end tokenized fund workflow using Chainlink's Digital Transfer Agent standard, demonstrating that subscriptions, redemptions, settlement, and compliance functions can operate across traditional finance and blockchain systems simultaneously. Asset managers including Fidelity International, WisdomTree, Amundi, Sygnum, and DigiFT are already running production tokenized fund operations on Chainlink infrastructure, leveraging its capabilities for net asset value data, cross-chain interoperability, and automated compliance.
The deployments signal a shift in how tokenization infrastructure is being captured within a sector valued at over $100 trillion. Rather than competing solely on asset issuance, dominant players are establishing control over the foundational layers that institutions depend on for these operations. Chainlink's integration across multiple asset managers and banking partners suggests the network is consolidating a middleware position in institutional tokenized finance.
What remains unclear is whether these deployments will scale meaningfully beyond pilot phases, how additional banks will integrate with the existing 47, and what competitive or regulatory pressures may emerge as tokenized fund volumes grow.
