Uniswap launches Permissioned Pools for RWA trading in v4; Axis Robotics raises $12M for Physical AI data engine; Tori Finance integrates yield-bearing stablecoin strUSD across DeFi platforms.

Uniswap rolled out Permissioned Pools in v4, a feature designed to facilitate trading of tokenized stocks, funds, and other real-world assets through automated market makers. Separately, Axis Robotics secured $12M in seed funding led by Hack VC, with participation from Nomad Capital and other backers, to advance its Physical AI data engine that combines large-scale simulation, real-world capture, and human-in-the-loop training to produce structured robotic datasets.
Tori Finance integrated strUSD, a yield-bearing stablecoin, across multiple DeFi platforms including Pendle, Morpho, Royco, and Curve. The stablecoin offers variable yields depending on the protocol: Pendle displays up to 16.88% APY with 6.49% for liquidity providers, while Royco shows up to 12.82% APY. The expansion reflects strUSD's growing adoption as a productive stablecoin across decentralized finance.
What remains unclear is the operational scope of Uniswap's Permissioned Pools—specifically which RWA assets are initially supported and what approval mechanisms govern access. For Axis, details on deployment timeline and which robot systems will benefit from the data engine are not disclosed. Tori Finance's yield rates, marked as "up to," suggest variable conditions depending on market conditions and capital efficiency on each platform.
