Binance has captured 50.4% of the $159.2 billion real-world asset perpetual trading market, a position roughly 2.9 times larger than its nearest competitor. The exchange's dominance has grown sharply: its market share climbed from 35.6% in January 2026 to 54.1% by August, holding above 50% for the past three months. Among the 15 largest RWA perpetual instruments tracked by CoinMarketCap, Binance leads volume in 13 assets spanning gold, silver, and SOXL.
The pattern extends to tokenized equities, where on-chain weekly trading reached $1.7 billion with bStocks capturing 88% of volume, compared to 10% for xStocks and 2% for Ondo. Despite this, the issuer concentration differs markedly from underlying value: Ondo holds 42% of the $2.55 billion total TVL but generates only 2% of volume, while bstocksfinance represents 26% of TVL yet accounts for 88% of trading activity. BNB Chain processed $1.52 billion of tokenized stock volume last week, dwarfing Solana's $168 million and Ethereum's $19 million.
The tokenized assets sector is expanding rapidly, with active traders in tokenized stocks climbing 25.6% to 235,000 and holders reaching 1 million. What remains unclear is whether this liquidity concentration will persist as competing platforms scale or whether Binance's lead reflects temporary first-mover advantage in these nascent on-chain markets.
