Ethereum has accumulated a $327.3 million increase in tokenized ETF and fund market capitalization over the past year, establishing itself as the dominant blockchain infrastructure for institutional real-world assets. Solana trails with an $83.3 million gain, followed by BNB Chain at $61.8 million and Base at $7.1 million. Data tracked by Token Terminal reveals the concentration of institutional capital flows across these networks.
The year-old Robinhood Chain, built on Arbitrum, has already captured $1.7 million in tokenized ETF and fund value since its launch this month. In contrast, Arbitrum One experienced a $28.6 million decline over the same period, suggesting a shift in institutional deployment toward newer infrastructure despite the broader category's growth.
The disparity between Ethereum's gains and those of emerging competitors underscores persistent institutional preference for the established network, though the emergence of chain-specific products indicates diversification attempts among asset managers. What remains unclear is whether these gains reflect net inflows into the asset class or redistributions within existing tokenized fund holdings.
