XRP Ledger's Batch V1.1 upgrade is one validator vote away from activation, enabling atomic bundling of up to eight transactions.
Tech & Launches ·
XRP Ledger's Batch V1.1 upgrade has secured support from 27 of 35 trusted validators and needs only one additional vote to activate. The upgrade will enable atomic bundling of up to eight transactions, allowing them to be processed together as a single unit on the ledger.
Atomic transaction bundling reduces the complexity of coordinating multiple related payments and can improve efficiency for use cases requiring coordinated settlement. The mechanism groups transactions so they either all succeed or all fail together, eliminating partial-execution scenarios. This capability is designed to streamline more intricate payment flows on the ledger infrastructure.
The vote remains pending, with activation contingent on reaching the threshold among the trusted validator set. It is not yet clear when the final validator support needed for activation will materialize or whether additional technical criteria must be satisfied before the upgrade goes live.
