Regulation & Gov ·
Ripple announced a series of partnerships and regulatory milestones in early July. The company partnered with a nonprofit supporting unemployed veterans in job placement, committing to match donations up to $10,000 toward a goal of securing jobs for 200,000 people by 2030. Luxembourg's financial regulator approved Ripple as a Crypto Asset Service Provider, enabling it to operate its payments platform across the European Economic Area. The firm also partnered with the University of Kansas athletics program, making XRP the first cryptocurrency to appear on jerseys of a major college sports team.
Spot XRP exchange-traded funds have accumulated nearly $1.5 billion in inflows since launch, with offerings from Canary Capital, Bitwise, Franklin Templeton, 21Shares, and Grayscale. The funds have experienced only four negative days since April, contrasting with persistent outflows from spot Bitcoin ETFs during the same period. At the time of reporting, XRP traded near $1.09 per token.
Market analysts pointed to potential upside movement. Some cited price compression patterns within a triangular structure as a setup for significant volatility once key resistance breaks. Specific price targets mentioned by analysts reached as high as $5, though no consensus emerged on timing or probability of such moves.
